June: Achievement

Summer

Achievement

Concepts to focus on: This is a time to appreciate what we have done. The parks and beaches are now filling with children, our wide open spaces are getting a little more crowded. We have an understanding and a sense of belonging in our community. We travel with ease and routine, we know our favorite spots and we know each other well.

Colors: Now brown really makes its debut! Gold for the grasses as they start to turn on the hillsides. Deep purple, deep green, sky blue… these are the colors of late spring. Any color is fine now, avoiding pastels.

Activity Ideas: Look at the garden to see all you need to know! If we have done our work, it will show there. The garden is planted and cared for and it has grown! It is creating the fruits that we will harvest soon, and our hands played in that. The days shouldn’t be too hot yet, so take those walks and enjoy the end of spring and birth of summer. Water the plants, create shade, and build houses to rest in.
